Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: September 13, 2026. Rules for lawful use of Numbverify. Violations may result in suspension without refund.
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) supplements our Terms of Service. By using Numbverify you agree not to misuse temporary numbers, wallets, or APIs.
1. Prohibited uses
You may not use Numbverify to:
- Commit fraud, identity theft, phishing, spam, or unauthorized account access
- Bypass law enforcement, sanctions, age gates, or lawful investigations
- Violate destination-platform terms (including creating banned or abusive accounts)
- Harass, exploit, or harm others, including minors
- Resell or white-label the Service in a way that conceals abuse or misrepresents Numbverify
- Attack, scrape excessively, reverse engineer, or disrupt our systems or suppliers
- Run automated bots that place abusive volumes of orders without written approval
2. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected misuse, freeze wallets, cancel orders, share necessary information with payment processors or authorities where legally required, and permanently ban accounts. Upstream SMS providers and payment processors may impose additional restrictions that we must follow.
3. Reporting abuse
Report suspected abuse via Contact us (choose Legal) or abuse@numbverify.com. Include order IDs, timestamps, and evidence where possible.
